International Drawing Project
The International Drawing Project organised by Café Royal Books begins on the 14th of February at PR1 Gallery in Preston. It will include an evolving art show, talks, several book releases and 1000 unique catalogues. Me and Faye will be artists in residence during the project and will release a publication of collaborative drawings for the occasion. Department 21 comics and narratives workshop
Me and Rose Blake ran a comics and narratives workshop for Department 21 at the RCA last year which I forgot about and got reminded again by roses blog as she found some photos. We provided people with 12 pages, each with a start and finish image already completed and they had to pass the sheets around adding one drawing at a time, these then linked to form one long narrative. It was a very fun afternoon with interesting results. Unfortunately we never managed to retrieve the comic after it was taken down from the wall.
